About Us

Holistic, global approach
tailored to individual needs

At Neural Connections, we address the root cause of challenges to help children and adults become more regulated and resilient. We involve parents in our process so they are empowered to make better-informed decisions about their child's needs.

Our Vision

Our vision is for all individuals of all ages to thrive through a holistic approach to achieve a regulated nervous system. We want parents to be educated and empowered to be able to advocate for their children and their families.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support and empower all individuals by addressing the root cause of challenges through a holistic approach focusing on sensory & reflex integration, nutrition and sleep. We focus on restoring nervous system regulation and building capacity from the foundations, thus empowering them to achieve their full potential.

Hsiao Bond’s neural connections to the world

Our Founder

I have always had an intrinsic desire to help those in need. As a teacher, I could see that children who received additional help often made some progress but not in significant ways that made a real difference. Later, when my own SPED child struggled, I disliked the idea of outsourcing to separate specialists working within their specialised areas but without any unified cohesive plan. I knew something had to change.

After extensive research, three years of homeschooling and working closely with my child, I found better ways that allowed her to transition back to school successfully.

My experiences inspired me to further enhance my knowledge of the brain, nervous system and trauma through MNRI courses to have a more holistic understanding of special needs children.

Reflex integration in action

Before the first MNRI® session

7-month-old baby is motivated to move and join her older siblings but was struggling to get traction to crawl on the floor. Her parents saw that she was starting to pull herself up on furniture and were worried about the possibility of her skipping the very important belly crawling milestone.

During the session

This is THE moment this baby belly crawled for the first time. During her session, we worked to integrate her primary reflexes. She demonstrated successfully the cross lateral movement while appropriately engaging the toes. Her visual tracking is also activated and she is able to move to a spot that she sees. This happened in just ONE session. While MNRI is for all ages, in a baby you can see the moment everything clicks, and the reflexes become integrated.
